Opuntia fosbergii
Opuntia fosbergii (Cyliindropuntia xfosbergii) is treated as a naturally occurring hybrid by the Flora of North America, rather than a distinct species (C. fosbergii = C. bigelovii × C. echinocarpa).
The reader is referred to "Plants of Southern California: Chollas," for a more complete discussion of the various Cylindropuntia of California (and adacent areas).
