I’ve got a worm or a virus, or something, on my computer. I can’t run any applications because a silly window keeps popping up telling me to buy some product. It is worse than annoying, I hope the darn varmint isn’t causing any real damage to my files.
Meanwhile, I’ve identified part of the problem, it is a virus/worm called “Spyware Protect 2009,” a malicious program that masquerades as a real protection program.
I’m writing this post from a guest computer and I hope to be up and running soon enough. Meanwhile, be careful of viruses, spam, ham, and anything else that should not be on your computer.
