Introduction
Opuntia touymeyi Rose is found in southern Arizona. Britton and Rose placed it in synonymy with O. phaeacantha. However, the Opuntia Web considers it to be a distinct species.
It may be that the species depicted in these photographs is not actually O. toumeyi.
